Description

The BG Electrical CFUEV6 is a white, IP20-rated pre-populated SPD metal consumer unit designed for use with EV vehicle chargers. It is specifically tailored for internal wiring applications where the EV charger supply cable lacks mechanical protection. This unit is 18th Edition Amendment 2 compliant and comes pre-populated with a 100A mains switch isolator, a Type 2 SPD for protection against power surges and voltage spikes, and a 40A 6kA Type B miniature circuit breaker (MCB). The Type 2 SPD ensures the vehicle is safe from electrical damage while charging. The unit features a durable white metal enclosure, suitable for indoor installation, and offers easy installation with top, bottom, side, and rear cable entry points. The compact design makes it ideal for garages or indoor spaces. The CFUEV6 is supplied with a DIN rail and measures 233mm in height, 176mm in width, and 100mm in depth.
