Manual call points for fire alarm systems, providing occupant-operated emergency activation in commercial buildings, communal areas, escape routes, and industrial premises. Manual call points must be installed in compliance with BS 5839-1 and positioned at exit routes and stairwells so that no person in a building travels more than 45 metres to reach one.
