Accessories for sockets and switches including single and double gang surface metal back boxes, flush-fit dry-lining and plaster-depth back boxes, 25mm and 47mm deep versions for accommodating large cables and devices, grid frames, blanking plates, and converter plates for upgrading from one style to another. All accessories are compliant with BS 7671 wiring regulations and suitable for professional installation.
Back box selection is critical: socket outlets require a minimum 25mm-deep box, while dimmer modules often need 47mm depth to accommodate the additional wiring. Surface boxes are used where chasing is not possible; flush boxes require a recessed position in the wall.
