Ajax MountCam B2 Wall Mount – White is a 242 mm Ajax wall mount for compatible wired IP cameras, designed to position the camera away from the wall and improve clearance or viewing angle. The A2/B2 versions include an adapter for compatible motorised-varifocal cameras and support selected baseline, HL, HLVF and Superior HLVF models. Description

Ajax MountCam B2 Wall Mount – White is a dedicated Ajax camera wall mount for installations where the camera needs additional stand-off from the mounting surface.

A wall arm is useful when a camera needs to clear an obstruction, project beyond an eave or façade feature, or achieve a better line of sight than direct surface mounting allows. It can also make the finished installation more orderly by giving the camera a defined mounting position and route for its cabling.

The A2/B2 version includes the adapter required for compatible motorised-varifocal cameras. Ajax lists support for selected baseline and HL cameras, TurretCam HLVF and DomeCam HLVF, and Superior HLVF camera families; non-Superior BulletCam HLVF is not compatible.

MountCam is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and is supplied with the necessary fasteners. Because compatibility differs between A1/B1 and A2/B2, the exact camera model should be checked before ordering rather than selecting the mount solely by arm length or colour.

Choosing the right Ajax model

The A2/B2 versions are the correct MountCam choice when compatible motorised-varifocal cameras are involved because they include the required adapter. Ajax lists them for standard and HL cameras, TurretCam HLVF, DomeCam HLVF and the Superior HLVF range. Non-Superior BulletCam HLVF is the important exception and is not compatible with MountCam.
