Premier Elite control panels
The Premier Elite series is Texecom's hybrid platform, accepting both wired and wireless expanders on the same panel. The Premier Elite 24 is certified to EN 50131-1 and EN 50131-3 Grade 3 Class II, and to PD 6662:2017 Grade 3 Class II. It runs 8 zones expandable to 24, across 2 areas, with 25 user codes and a 500-event time and date stamped log.
System grade is a property of the whole installation, not the panel alone — but a Grade 3 Class II certified panel can be specified into either a Grade 2 or a Grade 3 system, which is why the Premier Elite 24 turns up on domestic and commercial jobs alike.
Ricochet wireless kits
Ricochet is Texecom's mesh wireless technology: each device repeats the signal, so range is extended by the devices themselves rather than by adding repeaters. We hold the Capture Ricochet 64-W kits (KIT-1001, 1002, 1003, 1004), the SmartCom variant (KIT-1012), the wired-keypad kit (KIT-1086) and the 48 Hybrid kit (KIT-1005), plus the Premier Elite 24 kits (KIT-1040, 1050 and 1052 with sounder).

What is the difference between the Ricochet 64-W and the 48 Hybrid kit?
The 64-W kits are fully wireless and use Ricochet mesh, where each device repeats the signal to extend range. The 48 Hybrid kit takes both wired and wireless devices on the same panel, which suits retrofits where some cabling already exists.
Is the Premier Elite 24 Grade 2 or Grade 3?
The Premier Elite 24 is certified to EN 50131-1 and EN 50131-3 Grade 3 Class II, and to PD 6662:2017 Grade 3 Class II. The grade of the finished system depends on the whole installation, but a Grade 3 panel can be specified into a Grade 2 system.
Which Capture detector should I use where pets set off false alarms?
