Ajax FireProtect 2 (Heat/Smoke/CO) Jeweller is a wireless multi-sensor fire detector combining heat, smoke, and carbon monoxide detection in a single device. It uses a dual spectrum optical smoke sensor with a dustproof, insect-proof chamber to reliably distinguish real smoke from steam or cooking vapor. Two external thermistors detect rapid heat rises or high temperatures, while an integrated CO sensor warns of dangerous carbon monoxide levels — detecting 50 ppm within 90 minutes, 100 ppm in 40 minutes, or 300 ppm in 3 minutes.

When any sensor detects a threat, the built-in 85 dB siren sounds and all connected FireProtect 2 units activate within 20 seconds via primary interconnection. If the hub is offline, a fallback detector-to-detector interconnection still ensures alarms trigger across the system within 60 seconds. Users receive precise alerts through the Ajax app, including the type of alarm, location, and time. Unique sound patterns and LED indicators help quickly identify the hazard whether it’s heat, smoke, or CO.

The device is available in two models for long-term reliability: a sealed battery version with up to 10 years of operation, and a replaceable battery version offering up to 7 years. It communicates securely via Jeweller protocol with encrypted two-way communication, tamper protection, and a wireless range of up to 1700 metres. Real-time status and alarm updates are available in the Ajax app when paired with a hub.

Installation is simple using the SmartBracket mounting panel, allowing easy ceiling or wall installation without opening the enclosure. The detector supports remote setup and diagnostics through the Ajax app and complies with fire safety standards EN 14604, EN 50291, and EN 54 5.
